This extra special piece is made with natural colorJadeite from Myanmar (5.5mm) and 3.5mm natural color vintage Japan Akoya pearls in soft buttery colors. The necklace is 42" long and finished with a simple 14K yellow gold hook clasp. I bought these beads at the Monterey Jade Festival in June. The jade beads were hand cut/polished by a lovely couple I met at the festival, after I learned about the boulders of California jade they brought from the ocean floor and showed me that "they jade as avidly as I pearl", I was in love! The color of the jade is a best described as "a silvery white cooling tone" with subtle hints of lavender and green in some places. The pearls are from a vintage collection.
