This is an extremely rare natural wild found abalone pearl. It is an incredible radiant pink and green color with high luster. The pearl is 4.73 carats and measures ~9 x 8 mm. The pearl is a baroque circular shape. It has an off-white imperfection on its backside from where the pearl was attached to the abalone shell. This would be perfect for a ring.
A natural color wild abalone pearl, from the Green Abalone shell (Haliotis fulgens Philippi). This is not a piece of shell or a mabe pearl, it is a full natural pearl, and it is very rare. Wild found by abalone divers on the California coast. Natural indentations are visible on the pearl’s surface.
