This very special necklace is made of tiny natural color Tahitian pearls with a phenomenal hand carved antique nephrite jade fish centerpiece. The colors of the pearls are gradated from very light silver through grey and taupe, they are knotted soft silver color thread. The fish carving measures 2"x1". The total length of the necklace is 22" long. The clasp is a gold plated "bean" clasp, very secure and easy to use! The fish is carved on both sides, and is part of the of the Rudolf Voll (Pacific Pearls) collection (see more at www.kojimajade.com and/or our Etsy shop ). In Chinese culture, a fish symbolizes abundance/good fortune, and this is a very special example of this rich tradition of hand carved jade.
