Grown mostly in Japan and Vietnam, Akoya pearls are the first cultured salt water pearls and after nearly a century still hold the image of most people's idea of what a pearl should look like. In this section you will also find keshi pearls from the Akoya oysters.
Conch pearls have been used in jewelry for centuries. They are natural and wild found throughout the Caribbean and come in various pink, white, orange, yellow and even red hues! They are very rare and quite valuable.

Grown in the fresh water of Lake Kasumi ga Ura Japan, these pearls are famous for their intense natural colors and historical significance in the pearl culturing world. We are direct importers of Japan Kasumi pearls and invite you to visit our "About the Pearls" section of our website for more information on these rare pearls.
Keshi is a Japanese word that means "poppyseed". In salt water culturing, keshi pearls are unplanned pearls, often the baroque shaped pearl result of a rejected nucleus. In fresh water cultivation they are generally the result of a second harvest from a pearl producing mollusk.

 From tiny stud earrings to shoulder dusters, we believe that earrings can  liven up any day. Feel free to email us if you would prefer clip-on earrings! 

 If you would like us to shorten, lengthen or change the clasp on one of our necklaces, please just let us know at the time of purchase. All normal stringing is free of charge, sometimes there is a fee to lengthen a necklace, or for an upgraded clasp.

Many of our pearl rings are made here in our downtown San Rafael studio. We are happy to size any of our rings for you after full payment is received. They will however not be accepted as a return after the ring has been sized it to your specifications. Feel free to email us with any questions about a specific style. 

All of our strands are temporarily strung. We are happy to string, knot and finish any of these pearl strands for you. Most all of the stringing is free of charge, with the exception of extra labor intensive projects. We may ask for you to pay for a clasp if it is beyond what we offer for free.
