These Pteria Sterna (rainbow lipped oyster) are a designers dream, they have the warmest glow. Their plump shapes and arrangement as what I see to be a pair of earrings and a pendant make this lot a fun project for someone who has always wanted to have natural pearl jewelry. These are especially large for Pteria sterna pearls and they all have "beautiful" faces. I have shown the more gnarly parts which will most likely need to be covered with a setting. The total carat weight of this lot is 22.84 and the pearls measure : 7.5x9.5x12.5mm & 14x12x8mm & 6.5x9x13.7mm. This lot is from the private vintage collection of an honored mentor of mine.
