This 19.5" long necklace is made of natural color Chinese fresh water "feather" pearls. Reminiscent of natural pearls from the American fresh water river pearls in antique jewelry.. these pearls are found growing in the "hinge" of the mollusk which gives them their shape and fantastic texture. The pearls range in size from 8X15mm - 12x16mm, are hand knotted on ivory thread and finished with a sterling silver orbit clasp.
