This pair of extremely rare, natural wild found abalone pearls have radiant rainbow, turquoise, blue and pink reflective coloring. As a pair they truly stunning. The pearls are 8.0 carats and measure ~16.7 x 6.8 mm and are shaped like a set of shark teeth.
A natural color wild abalone pearl, from the Green Abalone shell (Haliotis fulgens Philippi). This is not a piece of shell or a mabe pearl, it is a full natural pearl, and it is very rare. Wild found by abalone divers on the California coast. Natural indentations are visible on the pearl’s surface.
